About Bombay Brothers
Bombay Brothers (Jay & Ketan) is an idea hailing straight from our hometown ’Bombay’.
We have been in United Kingdom for over 15 years & foodie since forever.
As our parents were working we usually had a chance to try our hands on in kitchen; which led Jay in pursuing Hotel Management & Ketan to trying out different cuisines.
15 years later it was time to get bring back the taste & flavours from the roots of ‘Bombay’ which was a major missing out here in UK.
Bombay Brother brings you the flavours of Bombay to the plates of UK with a modern culinary fusion.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its fantastic food and commendable service. Five stars well-deserved!
It's a mixed experience. We ordered masala cheese papad and it is the worst one I ever had. Major thing is papad is not freshly fried and simply decorating the papad with onions and tomatoes doesn't give you a taste. Also we have ordered schezwan noodles along with some fried rice, it was great. So, it's better to avoid papads especially 🙂.
Visited for dinner after recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes that were freshly prepared to high standards and authentic Indian flavours. Hats off to the owners and the chef for bringing the authentic Mumbai street food flavours to Reading.The Menu is very unique and has some interesting fusion food alongside the Mumbai Street food and Indo-Chinese dishes.Highly recommend the HashBrown Ragda Pattice, Pav Bhaji and Mango Falooda.We will definitely come back again.
MY husband and I visited and we were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. My favourite were the kebabs and lollipop chicken. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!
This is a an absolute winner. Reading has been fortunate to see a surge of eateries in the recent past but if you are after great tasting Indian food then do give them a try. We tried few items today - Vada pav platter, Hakka noodles, dhaba chicken, tandoori roti, garlic & coriander naan, mango lassi and masala chai; and I can’t fault anything. Everything was pitch perfect. Non greasy food where you can taste fresh ingredients, you will definitely long for more. Great child friendly options as well. We look forward to visiting again.
Brand new place with big flavours on their menu. We had a great evening hosted by Ketan and his team. Mumbai Chaat hits all the right notes. Definitely try the dahi ke kebaab. Our usual favourites Butter Chicken and Paneer tikka masala were scrumptious but the garlic coriander naan is best I’ve eaten in a restaurant. Ended the evening with a big glass of Mango Falooda… straight from Mumbai. Must visit on your next shopping trip.
